Welcome to the first issue of FutureMinds where we review a range of resources to support 3D printing including a novel use in Textiles. We also showcase the Greenpower racing challenge and give you some Food and Textiles updates.

This is a compilation of the articles about 3D printing that have appeared in Futureminds over the past three years.

They span designing for 3D printing, types of printers, teaching schemes and safe use of these machines in a school.

This gives the instructions for making the many of the component parts and assembling the cabinet. It is accompanied by CAD files for use on a laser cutter and 3D printer to produce those components. Some parts have to be purchaased and some can be either 3D  printed or purchased.
