Over recent years there have been several stories about the hazards of using MDF. This document details our guidance on the use of MDF in D&T, and how the dust should be controlled under COSHH regulations.

Cutting, carving and smoothing aerated concrete  blocks, GRP, Green Oasis, plaster of Paris blocks, wood or MDF including mould-making.Cutting expanded polystyrene with a sharp tool or a hot wire and smoothing it.Using a chain saw on wood.
