This MRAT identifies the controls that should be in place when using an electric spot welder.

The removal of grease and dirt with soaps, detergent powders and liquids. Stain removal by treatment of the whole garment or just the stained area with solvents, bleaches and enzymes.

Solvents may be used for removing stains from fabrics and in tests to determine their suitability for use with different synthetic fibres.
