This MRAT provides information related to the safe use of benches, vices, stools and tables in practical workspaces.

Using step-ladders, leaning ladders, extension ladders, trestles, scaffolding, work platforms, kick stools, tower scaffolds to access work that is beyond normal reach when standing on the floor or ground for a variety of construction and decorating activities.

This is a document which describes some of the strategies and practices that can be used in short stay schools, to enable practical work. 

This guidance is additional to all standard operating procedures across your school and CLEAPSS Guidance in general.
